The Tamron 15-30 2.8 has typical distortion for a zoom: strong barrel distortion at 15mm and moderate pincushion distortion at 30mm. It has no visible distortion from about 1820mm. Otherwise the 14-24 is a great lens similiar to this Tamron but costs more.

Nikon 14-24mm 2.8 vs Tokina 16-28mm 2.8 vs Tamron 15-30mm 2.8 for Nikon D850
I've recently upgraded to the beast Nikon D850 and it's an amazing camera but want a lens that'll pair nicely with the sensor and get the best I can get. Only problem is, I don't want to shell out the cash for a Nikon 14-24mm as I'm not a pro and more of a hobbyist.
I've read and seen reviews that the Tokina is pretty good but i've heard it doesn't have stablization. Also read a thread in this subreddit that the Tamron is good too from owners here. Does anyone have a Tokina 16-28mm 2.8? How is it on full frame? Curious to know. Will also be doing hand held with the wide, hence I'm asking.
Would appreciate any help as the camera stores near me both have to order the Tokina and Tamron in so I cannot really compare in real life.
